Call for Student Volunteers

Why you should apply
Becoming a student volunteer for IASDR 2017 is a great opportunity to meet other students and well-known international researchers. You will see the latest in design research and have fun while contributing to an international conference. Connections made during student volunteering can be valuable to a research career. If accepted, you will also receive discounted registration to the IASDR2017 conference. Note: We do not cover travel expenses to and from the conference or accommodation costs.
What to expect
Student volunteers have three main duties:
- Supporting the set up of presentation, poster, exhibition, and workshop spaces
- Welcoming attendees and answering questions at the information desk
- Assisting during presentation sessions
Student volunteers will be reliable and motivated to support the implementation of the conference, with high quality customer service.
To qualify as a student volunteer, you must be studying Design or a related discipline at the Masters or PhD level at the time of the conference and be fluent in English. Bi-lingual fluency will be a plus. No previous conference experience is required.
